AN EMERGENCY SITUATION HAS ARISEN IN THE NARSIPATANAM AREA. CHILDREN THERE ARE BEING BADLY ABUSED. GIRLS ARE ARE BEING STOLEN AND TURNED INTO PROSTITUTES AND BOYS INTO SLAVES. ALSO THE CHILDREN ARE BEING KILLED SO THAT THEIR BODY ORGANS CAN BE SOLD. THERE IS AN URGENT NEED IS FOR A $60,000 BUILDING TO HOUSE 50 CHILDREN, AND ALSO SPONSORSHIP FOR THOSE CHILDREN.
We want to help other children in desperate situations as well but we currently don't have the means to do this. If God gives us more sponsors we'll be able to look after them. We need at least $60-$100 dollars per month to feed, clothe and educate each child. Each child is loved, properly disciplined and spends 2 hours in the presence of God each day.
We K. Kumarbaba joseph and my wife jyothi kumari have 35 orphans living in our home at satellite city which is not far from the slums. We found these children as we served in the surrounding villages. They were without proper food, clothing, shelter and education and were orphaned at a very early age because their parents deserted them, an accident happened, or for other socio-economic reasons. We brought them to our home and give them food, clothing, shelter, education as well as spiritual training.
